That's a Wrap!

Sharing photos from our archives is now complete!

That sure took longer to go through than I first imagined, but my pic files are now more organized, edited and purged. Hurrah! This whole project began after seeing other accounts being deleted or frozen. I think it's a good idea not to keep everything in one basket. I mean sure I have these photos saved on my computer but not with all the little written details.

I have been taking a little break from social media sites. I was just feeling disconnected and I think we all need to take a break from time to time to recharge and re-evaluate.

Nothing makes me feel more productive or inspired than spending time organizing my studio. I am working towards getting it 100% tidied and de-cluttered. Usually I work on the task until it is about 80% finished and then after pulling out some items for a project (which I don't have room for) I am back to tripping over things.

Two thumbs up for enjoying days in the studio, sewing for dolls and decor, creating more dioramas and sharing new photos!

I'll be back soon!

  1. Oh this is a great idea ! I love blogs and have one that is sorely neglected ! Studios and Blogs do seem to go hand in hand but then it gets hard to find time for Flickr and FB and Blogging and have time to create ! I am excited to see how you do it .

  2. Thank you Debby! How exciting to receive my very first comment! lol Well, I think a person needs to keep a blog for themselves because it does not provide the instant gratification that FB can with the amount of likes and comments.

Starting this blog was a real challenge at first. What to write? How do I even format anything? I am very comfortable with it and enjoying it now and it’s a lot of fun creating a post “story” and placing a bunch of photos within the text.

I will still use Flickr for sharing photos that I put a bit of work into and my FB page is good for sewing wip and shop updates. I do find that FB takes up so much time though with the amount of posts, especially with all the personal updates.

If you take up blogging again, please send me the link because I would love to blog along with you!
